Privacy policy

Qube Self Storage Ltd (“Qube”, “we”) runs this website ahead of opening our storage site on Ingram Road, Holbeck, Leeds LS11 9RQ. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site or register your interest, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the details you give us, we use them to email you about Qube opening, and we don’t sell or pass them to anyone else.

Who is responsible for your data

Qube Self Storage Ltd is the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@qubeselfstorage.co.uk. Our company registration details will be added here once incorporation completes.

What we collect

When you register your interest, we collect:

• Your email address (required).
• Your first name and phone number, if you choose to give them.
• The locker size you’re interested in and roughly when you’d want it, if you choose to tell us.
• The date and time you registered, as a record of your consent.

Across the site we also count visits to each page and registrations completed. These counts are anonymous: they use no cookies and contain nothing that identifies you — see our cookies page.

What we use it for

• To email you when Qube opens, including our rates and launch offers.
• To send occasional updates about the build and opening in the meantime.
• To plan the site itself — knowing which sizes people want helps us get the mix right.
• To reply if you contact us.

Our lawful basis is your consent: registering your interest is you asking us to email you about Qube. You can withdraw that consent at any time — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, or just email us and we’ll remove you.

Where it’s stored

Your details are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), part of Google Cloud. Google may process data in data centres outside the UK; where that happens it’s covered by UK adequacy decisions or Google’s standard contractual safeguards. We don’t share, sell or rent your details to anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your registration until Qube has opened and our launch communications have run their course, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and remove your details.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to:

• See a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it.
• Export it in a portable format.
• Stop emailing you (withdraw consent).

Email info@qubeselfstorage.co.uk and we’ll sort it, normally within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data — for example when we open and start taking bookings — we’ll update this page and, where the change matters, email you about it.
